Sale Echo 1 Robinsons Armament XCR (AEG)
The Robinson Armament Co. XCR is a multi-caliber, gas piston weapon system developed by Robinson Armament Co. for U.S. Special Operations Command (SOCOM) to satisfy the requirements of the SOF Combat Assault Rifle or SCAR competition. Seen by many as a direct competitor to the FN SCAR and even the Magpul Masada, the XCR is indeed a modern generation tactical carbine looking to be a possible future replacement of the venerable but aged M4. The weapon is 73cm / 28.5 inches long which reduces to 52cm / 20.5 inches with stock side folded (to the right) and comes in at about 2.7 kg / 5.9 lbs making it compact and lightweight but still enough heft with its essentially all metal construction to feel and be very solid. The layout could be described as a cross between a Masada, SCAR and AR (M16/M4) with a Masada style ambidextrous bolt release just in front and beneath the trigger guard, the charging handle is on the left but the bolt opens on the right.
